Applicants should have been staying in a particular state for a time period required by the government of that state to issue a Domicile Certificate.

Any female married to a person in a particular state are eligible to apply for the state’s Domicile Certificate.
If the applicant is a minor, their Domicile Certificate would be made on the basis of their parents’.

The affidavit required by the government. This affidavit will be mentioned in Annexure 1 of the form of Domicile Certificate.
An identity proof (it may include any government id card having your name and address like Aadhar card, PAN card, Voter ID card, etc.)
Address proof (this may include your electricity bill, water bill or telephone bill. This is required to match the address.)
Birth Certificate (copy)
Proof to show that the applicant holds a land. (This maybe your property papers’ copy)
Coloured passport size photograph of the applicant.

Go to the official government website of your state.
Log in using your unique login ID and password.
Find the apply for forms option and click the link.

A page with a form will appear on your screen.
Fill the form with all the required details and pictures or numbers of the required documents.
Add the desired mode of payment (credit card, debit card, net banking, Bhim UPI, etc)
Submit the form and wait for the approval.
Once approved, you will be able to track the status of your form. Once the Domicile Certificate is processed, you will be able to download it and print it for further use.
