Update ( 29 Oct 2022 ): The world’s tallest shiva statue ( Viswas Sawaroopam or Statue of Belief) has been completed. Its launch ceremony is going to start on saturday (29 October). 

The state of Rajasthan is just a couple of months away from the completion of construction of World’s Tallest Lord Shiva Statue. All about Lord Shiva Tallest Statue Nathdwara

The Lord Shiva Tallest Statue in India is 351-feet tall in height. It’s situated at a place called Ganesh Tekri, which is 50 km away from city of Udaipur. As per an official from Miraj Group, a construction group working on this project, the statue is in its final lap of construction and likely to be ready around August. The official work of the statue started in 2012; over 750 workers have been deployed to work on this project.

By the time it gets completed, almost over 2,500 tonnes of refined steel will be used for the construction.

High-quality copper is going to be utilized in furbishing the statue. Pure zinc has been used to build the 110-feet tall pedestal at the site. Upon the finishing of the construction, you get three different galleries at three different levels – 20, 110, and 270 feet. The world’s tallest Shiva murti has a beautiful garden surrounding it for 300 square feet area for visitors to relax.

When it comes to tall statues in the world, India has the world’s tallest statue in Gujarat – the Statue of Unity (597 feet). The second tallest statue is currently in China, called the Spring Temple Buddha (420 feet), and the third tallest statue is in Myanmar – Laykyun Sekkya statue (380 feet).

The current tallest Shiva statue in the world is in Nepal – Kailashnath Temple, the height of this statue is 143 feet. Another tallest Shiva statues in the world are in Murudeshwar Temple, Karnataka (123 ft) and Aadiyog Temple, Tamil Nadu (112 ft) respectively.

The Nathdwara shiva statue height is 351 feet. The 351 Feet shiva statue is situated beautiful Aravalli Hills, Nathdwara. The place is famous for Shrinathji temple, and the historic temple was built around the 17th century by Maharana Raj Singh of Mewar.
