PV Sindhu is an Indian professional badminton player.
Sindhu was born on 5 July 1995 in Hyderabad, Telangana, India.
She started playing badminton at the age of eight, Inspired by her Mother, who was a national-level volleyball player.
She is currently Ranked Second in the world by the Badminton World Federation.
In 2013, she became the First Indian Woman to win a medal at the Badminton World Championships, taking home a bronze.
She has won several medals in international competitions, including a Silver at the 2016 Summer Olympics and a Gold at the 2018 Commonwealth Games.
